Samantha Triani, LMSW

Samantha is a Licensed Master Social Worker with clinical training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and utilizes play/ exposure therapy techniques. Samantha focuses on populations that include children, adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and couples.

Over the course of our lives, we learn unhealthy behaviors and habits which negatively impact our emotional well being. Samantha believes in teaching her clients to prioritize their own mental health and gain new behavioral, communicative, and relational skills.

We can all be challenged by the emotional impact of transgenerational issues, family norms, environmental stressors, or reinforcement of negative learned behaviors can have on our everyday lives.  Samantha’s approach to therapy is based upon the belief that each individual with the correct support has the capability to create a desired change at any moment in life. Samantha provides a safe space for self expression in an unbiased and non judgemental setting. Samantha incorporates mindfulness strategies to assist her clients in reducing stress through relaxation and meditative techniques. By acquiring these skills in therapy, we are given the choice and power to build and develop a life worth living, beyond what we believe is possible.
